Comments: The colors are wonderful, it felts like a dream, but Mohair and I just can't seem to get along. Too itchy for me! Don't let that stop you from trying it, it's probably just me.

Brown Sheep Yarn is Tops!!
Posted By: Laura Millichamp-Lawrence
Location: United States
Comments: Dear Gentlepersons at Kyarns.com, First, thank you Kyarns for prompt, perfect service...complete with tea;(how did you know I knit as I drink tea??Hmmm..suddenly it feels as if I've been "found out"). Second, and "next", please know that I absolutely love Brown Sheep yarn because it is a wonderful experience to use this fiber. It has a lovely hand--it feels good. It is spun well. Colors are lovely. It doesn't tangle. Unlike some yarns (dare I say, Turkish yarns!), their skeins are most usually free of knots and tangles. Brown Sheep yarn is simply a delight to use. It's worth every cent. Best of all, speaking as a very frustrated person because this economy has been so painful for me and mine and because my state (Michigan) has really suffered because of NAFTA and "outsourcing", Brown Sheep yarn is made in the U.S.A. Every purchase of this yarn keeps jobs here in our country. Moreover, this business is a longtime family business--a fading, gasping for air group these days. If I could financially afford to knit perpetually and always use such lovely fiber as Brown Sheep yarn, I would--for many many reasons. First, it's great yarn--but second, and equally important to me, this family business is trying to be environmentally responsible. Third--and also very important to me--this is a U.S.A. company that employs my fellow citizens and buying their products keeps jobs in my country. To top all this off, Kyarns.com is a comfortable website (I'm not that comfortable with computers), the people at Kyarns are delightful--the teabag I received with my order actually made me cry real tears (because I knew I was dealing with "kindred spirits", as the literary heroine Anne Shirley would say). All in all, my purchase of this yarn with these people at Kyarns has buoyed my spirits and brightened an otherwise dreary winter. Thank you! I'll enjoy every second of knitting something lovely for my daughter-in-law thanks to each of you--and my beloved husband of 33 years who chose the particular yarn that he thought our daughter-in-law would like. T h a n k you all. This message comes with a special hug for each of you--along with a "huzzah" to the folks at Brown Sheep yarn for their terrific yarn. A hearty "well done" for each of you!! With a hug and a cup of tea, too, if this were possible. Sincerely, Laura Millichamp-Lawrence

Comments: This wool is super soft and although it looks to vary in thickness, it knits up really evenly. I was amazed at how fast and comfortable it was to knit. Very soft and also very warm to wear. a good buy.
