Q: What yarn would substitute for Milan Yarn. I want to make the Birch Leaf Shawl. I like to colors shown on the pattern. Also, what color is the beaded lace? Thanks for your help.

  A: A great substitute for the Milan yarn (discontinued) would be Dream in Color Smooshy with Cashmere. Milan was a fingering weight yarn. So any sock weight/fingering weight yarn will work as a substitute.
