Plymouth Encore Tweed Yarn

Plymouth Encore Tweed is the tweedy version of most popular worsted weight yarn. It feels soft and wooly but is a blend of acrylic and wool, and works for both people who are allergic to wool and those who don't generally like acrylics. Very durable, high quality yarn available in a large color range. This yarn is available in several of our knitting kits, and requires size 8 US knitting needles.

Q: what is the dye lot on your encore tweed worsted 0212? if it's 41814, do you have 4 skiens?

Q: Looking to match Plymouth Encore Tweed worsted weight yarn...color #2334 and lot #42438. Need probably 3 balls. Does the dye lot have to match?

  A: For dyelot information please call the shop at 802-288-9200 x 4 (10am-5pm EST) or email us at knit@kyarns.com. Dyelots change daily so if we are contacted by phone or email, then we are able to hold them (if we have a match). Dye lots should always match in your projects - so it's always important to buy an extra ball or two. However, the color can match pretty closely from one lot to another, and there are ways to work in a new ball so it's not as obvious if the lot is different. (Knit 1-2 rows from the old ball, and 1-2 rows from the new ball so it blends better!)
