Warmest Mitten

This is the warmest coziest mitten you will ever put on! (And you won't want to take it off!) This double layer knit mitten is oh-so warm and wonderfully soft inside to keep you toasty on the coldest of days. Based on an easy beginner mitten pattern this project calls for knitting both of the 'outer' mittens using a light and lofty alpaca blend yarn then you simply turn the mittens inside out and knit a second 'liner' mitten to fit inside using a super soft wool blend. Size: one size - adult medium.

You will need the following materials:

Yarn: 380 yards worsted weight yarn for outer mittens and 165 yards worsted weight yarn for mitten linings. (For striped mittens you will need 190 yards EACH of 2 different colors.) Mittens are shown in 2 skeins Berroco Flicker yarn and 2 skeins Universal Yarns Chic Fleece yarn.

Needles: US US Size 4, 5 and 6 double pointed needles or sizes needed to obtain gauge.
