Ch 13.
Tr in 5th chain from hook and in the next 8 chains (9 tr), turn.
Ch 4 (counts as first tr crochet), skip first stitch, tr in next st and in each st across, turn.
Repeat this row until desired length.
Note: Keep in mind the yarns that remain and what you want to use for your accent flowers. You can untie a joining knot, work a flower, then rejoin the yarns and continue the scarf. The thick and thin mohair is very difficult to use in the accent flowers.
Crochet Accent Flowers
For center, ch 5, sl st in first chain to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 1, 5 sc in ring, sl st in first sc to join.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, (sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc) in each sc (makes 5 petals), sl st in first sc to join.
Break yarn.
Use your tails (beg or end) to attach to your scarf.
Note: You can vary the number of sc in your ring to change the number of petals for your flower. You can also vary the look of your flower by changing yarns after Rnd 1.
