This is a free crochet pattern.
430 yards fingering weight yarn. (Shown in 1 skein Schoppel Wolle Zauberball Starke 6 yarn.)
US G crochet hook or size needed to obtain gaugeGauge:
6 DC sts and 4 DK rows = 1 x 1 inch squareSize:
one size – approximately 6" wide by 75" long without fringe.Instructions:
NOTE: If you plan to fringe the scarf you may wish to cut 40-60 strands of the yarn into approximately 10" lengths and set this aside for later.
Row 1: foundationless hdc ch 247, turn.
Row 2: ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next st, (ch 1, skip 1, dc in next 2 stitches) repeat to end, turn.
Row 3: ch 3 (counts as dc), ch 1, skip 1, (dc in chain 1 space, ch 2) repeat ending row ch 1, dc in top of turning chain, turn.
Row 4: ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next st, (ch 1, skip 1, 2 dc in ch 2 space) repeat to end, turn.
Repeat Rows 3 and 4 until scarf is desired width or you near the end of the skein of yarn.
Last row: ch 2, hdc in next and every other stitch.
Fasten off; weave in all ends and attach fringe if desired.
