Rolled Brim Hat

This is a free knitting pattern.
87 yards bulky mohair blend yarn (Shown in 1 skein of Trendsetter Dune yarn.)
217 yards worsted weight yarn. (Shown in 1 skein of Berroco Vintage yarn.)
US 10/16" circular needle
US 10 double pointed needles

Gauge: 3 stitches = 1 inch

Instructions
Holding one strand of each yarn together, cast 60 stitches on to the circular needles. Place marker and join, being careful not to twist stitches. Knit for 6.5", ending at the marker. Begin decreasing on the following round, as follows and changing to double pointed needles when needed:

Round 1: (Knit 8, k2tog) 6 times.
Rounds 2, 4, 6, 8: Knit.
Round 3: (Knit 7, k2tog) 6 times.
Round 5: (Knit 6, k2tog) 6 times.
Round 7: (Knit 5, k2tog) 6 times.
Round 9: (Knit 4, k2tog) 6 times.
Round 10: (Knit 3, k2tog) 6 times.
Round 11: (Knit 2, k2tog) 6 times.
Round 12: (Knit 1, k2tog) 6 times.
Round 13: (k2tog) 6 times (6 stitches are left.)

Cut the yarn leaving a 12" tail. Thread it through the remaining stitches, draw up tightly and secure. Weave in ends.
