tbl - thru the back loop
wyif - with yarn in front
InstructionsCast on 20 stitches.
Row 1: Slip 1 purlwise wyif, move yarn to back, *k2tog tbl but only remove the first stitch from the left needle* repeat * to * across row. When one stitch remains on the left needle, k1 tbl.
Row 2: Slip 1 purlwise, *p2tog but only remove the first stitch from the left needle* repeat * to * across row, when one stitch remains on left needle, p1.
Repeat these two rows for length of cowl.
Bind off and weave in ends.
You may either sew the cast on and bind off edges together or use large buttons or a shawl pin to secure.
Please Note: It is very easy to slip 2 stitches off the needle instead of 1, so check your stitch count often.
