Cast on 4 stitches and begin working in pattern.

Pattern:
Row 1: K1, *(yo, K2tog)* repeat * to * to last 1 st, K1
Rows 2 & 4: Knit the row, increasing in both the first and last stitches.
Rows 3: K1, *(K2tog, yo)* repeat * to * to last 1 st, K1

Repeat to desired size and bind off loosely.
