73 yards worsted weight cotton yarn
Size G crochet hook
This potholder is worked in a spiral so you do not need to join the rounds. Mark your 1st stitch of round
Chain 4.
Join to 1st chain with slip stitch.
Rnd 1: Chain 1, work 6 single crochet into ring.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in every sc of round 1 (12 sc)
Rnd 3: (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc) repeat around
Rnd 4: (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 2 sc) repeat around
Rnd 5: (2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 3 sc) repeat around
Continue in this manner – each round having one more sc between the increases.
When potholder is the size you want: at end of round, Chain 15, attach to next sc with slip stitch and tie off.
