1 skein Malabrigo Rasta
Size 13 needles in 16" circular and double pointed
Gauge: 2.75 sts/inch in stockinette Pom Pom Maker (optional)

With size 13 needles, cast on 48 stitches. Place marker and join into a round.

Knit 1 round. Purl 1 round.
(Knit 2 rounds. Purl 1 round) 4 times.
Knit every round until hat measures 6" from cast on.

Shape Crown (switch to dp needles as needed)
(K6, k2tog) repeat (42 sts)
Knit 1 round.
(K5, k2tog) repeat (36 sts)
Knit 1 rounds.
(K4, k2tog) repeat (30 sts)
(K3, k2tog) repeat (24 sts)
(K2, k2tog) repeat (18 sts)
(K1, k2tog) repeat (12 sts)
(K2 tog) repeat (6 sts)
Cut yarn leaving 6-8" tail. Draw through remaining stitches to close. Weave in ends.

Finishing

Make & attach pom pom, if desired. Weave in ends.
