Kaleidoscope Yarns is located at 15 Pearl Street in the village of Essex Junction, Vermont, between the majestic Green Mountains and beautiful Lake Champlain. We're just 15 minutes from the town of Burlington and 45 minutes from the ski resorts of Stowe and Sugarbush. Plan to stop in and see us when you are traveling around our beautiful state!

From Interstate 89:
Take Exit 12 and head towards Williston/Essex on Route 2A N. Continue until you reach the "Five Corners" intersection in the heart of Essex Junction. Turn left at the stop light onto Route 15 W (Pearl Street). Our shop is the fourth building on the right.

From Montreal, Canada and points north
In Vermont, take Interstate 89 southbound to Exit 17. Take Route 2 to 2A (thru Colchester) towards Essex Junction. Continue on 2A to Route 15 W, until you reach the "Five Corners" intersection in the heart of Essex Junction. Turn right at the stop light onto Route 15 W (Pearl Street). Our shop is the fourth building on the right.

From Boston, Massachusetts and points East in New England
Take Interstate 89 northbound to Exit 12. Turn right on Route 2A N and continue to the "Five Corners" intersection in the heart of Essex Junction. Turn left at the stop light onto Route 15 W (Pearl Street). Our shop is the fourth building on the right.

From Albany, New York and points southwest including New York City
Take Interstate 87 north past Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls to Lake George, NY. Take Route 149 to Fort Ann, NY. Take Route 4 to Fairhaven, VT (Exit 2). Take 22A north to Vergennes. After Vergennes, take Route 7 N to Interstate 189 and follow signs for Interstate 89 north. Take I-89 north to Exit 15. Turn right and follow Route 15 for just under 4 miles. Our shop will be on the left just before the "Five Corners" intersection in the heart of Essex Junction, Vermont.

From upstate New York including Lake Placid, NY
Take the Lake Champlain Ferry (Plattsburgh, NY) from Cumberlands Head Island to South Hero, VT (Grand Isle Ferry) -- 20 minute ride. Take Route 2 to Route 2A to Essex Junction. At the "Five Corners" intersection in the heart of Essex Junction, turn right at the stop light onto Route 15 W (Pearl Street). Our shop is the fourth building on the right.



Our parking lot is accessed via our driveway on Pearl Street (see orange arrow on large map above.) It can accommodate 5-6 cars when people park properly. We’ve had a few instances of people blocking our driveway to incoming cars. PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE DRIVEWAY! If someone is waiting in the car while you shop, ask him or her to park the car in an actual spot (you may be in the shop longer than you think...) It’s not fair to other customers who are trying to turn in!

PLEASE REMEMBER THE MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT
We have a sign, a brick walkway and steps that lead directly from the Municipal Lot to our shop. Parking is free every day and you are almost always guaranteed a spot. Getting in and out of the Municipal Lot is simple (see blue arrows on map.) It’s right behind the Village Offices, the Brownell Library, Maplehurst Florist, and the Essex Junction Fire Station.
